Code Breaker! is a classic mind game that challenges players to solve a secret code through strategic guessing and deduction based on provided hints.
HOW TO PLAY
- The objective is to decipher the opponent's code using as few attempts as possible.
- Choose from a selection of 6-8 different colors.
- Strategically guess the correct sequence of colors.
- You have a maximum of 8 attempts to crack the code.
- Select a colored peg and place it on the game board.
- If desired, replace a previously placed peg by tapping on it and selecting another color.
- When you are confident with your color combination, press the "OK" button located on the right side.
- After completing your combination, review the small pegs on the right side of the board for feedback:
- Black peg: Indicates correct color in the correct position.
- White peg: Indicates correct color in the wrong position.
- Empty peg: Indicates incorrect color and position.
If you fail to crack the code within 8 attempts, you lose and the correct color combination will be revealed at the top of the game board.
It's important to note that the order of the feedback pegs does not correlate with the order of your guessed pegs. The feedback only indicates how many guessed pegs are correct, without specifying which ones.
SCORING:
- You earn more points for fewer attempts, using more colors, and placing more pegs.
- Using hints results in fewer points being awarded.
